____________________________________, Hereinafter referred to as Buyer, has purchased a puppy/dog from Melinda Little and Jerrie Watson d/b/a McKnight's Majestic Shih-Tzu, herinafter referred to as Seller, whelped on the _____________ day of ________________________, 20________ as described here:

And agrees to the following as outlines in this Guarantee and Sales Contract:
Guarantee: To the best of Seller's knowledge and belief this puppy/dog is in good health and is free from symptoms of contagious and infectious diseases at the time of sale. If you beleive the puppy/dog to be in anything but good health, you should take to a veterinarian within 72 hours of purchase. If the dog is in anything other than good health due to disease (not injury or mishandline) a full refund of your purchase price will be given upon the return of the dog along with a certificate from the veterinarian with a written diagnosis of illness. This does not include the presence of worms or Coccidia which may be present in any healthy puppy. We further guarantee this puppy/dog against any potentially fatal genetic defect for a period of 1 year from date of purchase.
This dog will have the characteristics of the AKC recognized breed of Shih-Tzu and this dog is not to be spayed/neutered and a full registration is being given with Limited breeding right for this dog. It is believed; this dog has show potential and may be show quality. No guarantees are made on this dog's finishing his/her Championship as this is dependent on training, socializing and showing of said dog.
No offspring from this dog is to be sold to any commerical breeder, broker or pet shop and any offspring not appearing to have show potential will be sold with a spay/neuter contract and Limited registration. No offspring are to be sold to Breeders for breeding purposes and any potential show home should be checked out and references verified. purchaser may keep any offspring for their own use for breeding and/or showing.
This dog is to be co-owned with breeder until championship is completed and picture & copy of Championship certificate is mailed to Breeder. In the event it is decided against finishing his/her Championship for any valid reason(s) breeder will sign off on the co-own and he/she may be kept for breeding purposes. This decision should not be made prior to him/her being show at least 10 times after he/she is over 9 months of age.
This puppy/dog is not to be resold without the written permission of the breeder. If at some future time, the purchaser cannot keep this dog, the breeder should be contacted and an effort will be made to obtain a new placement. No refunds of money are offered in this situation. This dog is to never be put into a rescue situation and should be returned to the breeder to be re-homes if necessary. Any disputes arising on behalf of this dog are to be resolved in Iredell County, State of Noth Carolina that the breeder resides. Any violation of the above will result in $1000.00 fine and the dog will be returned to the breeder intact along with all AKC papers.
Male dogs may be bred while showing. However, a Bitch IS NOT to be bred until after her championship is acquired and/or her second (2nd) heat cycle. Any violation of this will result in a $2500.00 fine and the dog will be returned to the breeder, with no compensation to the buyer for the purchase price of the dog. When breeding a Bitch you must skip each cycle giving her a rest between litters. Also she must be spayed at or before her eighth (8th) birthday. Any violation of this will result in a $2000.00 fine and the dog will be returned to the breeder at no compensation to the buyer for the purchase price of the dog. If you are not a professional handler we require that one be hired so that the dog will finish quickly. We will recommend handlers in this case.
This dog is to be housed inside at all times. This dog should be taken out on a leash and never turned loose unless in a small fenced area. Dog is to be kept up to date on all vaccines, as well as heartworm prevention and flea prevention.
This agreement is accepted by both the Seller and the Purchaser.
