McKnight's Majestic
Shih-tzus
These are our babies. They are a treasured part of our family. All are strictly pets and have been spayed/neutered.
Sassy - Shih-Tzu yorkie mix. She is the matriarch. Sassy inspired our pet clothing line which can be found at www.sassypetwear.com
Iredell's Prancing Fritz - AKA "Fritz" He is moms 13 year old male pom.
Iredell's Foxy Heidi - AKA "Heidi" She is the sister to Fritz. Also 13.
McKnight's Faithful Noble Simba aka "Simba" He came to us from Vickie in Texas. He is tan and white. He is such a sweetheart and is not currently being used in our breeding program due to his size. He weighs in at 15 lbs.
Skylar was one of our breeding females. However, the first time she whelped she had 5 puppies and they were to big for this 7 lb little girl. She got a uterine infection as well as mastitis and had to have an emergency spay. She grieved over her puppies when we brought her home. We found a sarrogate for her puppies because she could no longer nurse them. We hate that she couldn't experience this because she always tried to mother the other puppies in the home. She is a special girl and will live her life out here ruling the roost .

MY BELOVED LITTLE PRANCER HAS CROSSED OVER TO RAINBOW BRIDGE. I MISS HIM EMMENSLY!! Lonestars Prancin around Town aka "Prancer" He was originally purchased for our breeding program. However, due to health issues he was retired early. Prancer had a broken jaw when he came to us and system wide infection. He was very timid and in severe pain and once we got him fixed up his personality changed. He was very appreciative and gave me more love than any other dog I owned. He fit perfectly under my left arm and loved to lay on my lap at nite and would lay there for hours getting rubbed. He developed diarraha and kept it for 6 months. We ran all kinds of test and then the vet referred him to a specialist. All his test were normal and the first thing the specialist did was an ultrasound. She came back in with the devestating news that Prancer had intestinal cancer that had spread to his spleen and lymph nodes. I had told mother about 4 weeks prior to the specialist visit that his eyes had become weak looking. Even though Prancer was eating and drinking hearty he began losing weight and had lost 2 lbs in 3 weeks. He never stopped wagging his tail but he began using the bathroom every 30 - 40 minutes and nothing but water would come out. He would keep straining and nothing would come out so I knew he was miserable. We had to make the difficult decision to put this precious Angel down. I am thankful I could give him 2 y ears of love and I hate that he lost his battle at such a young age. I will never have another baby as precious to me as this little guy. I love all my dogs but this little guy was special because he was ill the day I got him and he put on a brave fight. He gave me so much love and affection and he knew he was special to me.
