McKnight's Majestic
Shih-tzus
These are our babies. They are a treasured part of our family. All are strictly pets and have been spayed/neutered.
Sassy - Shih-Tzu yorkie mix. She is the matriarch. Sassy inspired our pet clothing line which can be found by clicking here
Iredell's Prancing Fritz - AKA "Fritz" He is moms 13 year old male pom.
Little Fritz has also passed over to rainbow bridge. It took me a while to write this Eulogy for him as he was special to me, even though he belonged to my mother. He is the dog that make me fall in love with boy dogs and I haven't looked back. Boys are special. I had always purchased girls and when mom got this dog I changed my views and all my beloved pets now are boys with the exception of Sassy. He went shortly behind his sister Heidi. It was a sad day when mom had to make the tough decision to put this little guy down. When she told me that is was the day, I picked him up and he layed on my lap for 30 minutes and just slept and I took a few pictures of him laying there which he would have never done if he had been his normal self. He was a great boy and is sorely missed!!!
Iredell's Foxy Heidi - AKA "Heidi" She is the sister to Fritz. Also 15.
Little Heidi Crossed over to Rainbow Bridge due to severe renal failure and mom had to make the hard decision to put her out of her misery on November 8, 2010. She is sorely missed but mom did the right thing putting her to sleep as she was unable to eat or bark and she enjoyed being vocal in her 15 years of life.
McKnight's Faithful Noble Simba aka "Simba" He came to us from Vickie in Texas. He is tan and white. He is such a sweetheart and is not currently being used in our breeding program due to his size. He weighs in at 15 lbs.
Skylar was one of our breeding females. However, the first time she whelped she had 5 puppies and they were to big for this 7 lb little girl. She got a uterine infection as well as mastitis and had to have an emergency spay. She grieved over her puppies when we brought her home. We found a sarrogate for her puppies because she could no longer nurse them. We hate that she couldn't experience this because she always tried to mother the other puppies in the home. She is a special girl and will live her life out here ruling the roost .

MY BELOVED LITTLE PRANCER HAS CROSSED OVER TO RAINBOW BRIDGE. I MISS HIM EMMENSLY!! Lonestars Prancin around Town aka "Prancer" He was originally purchased for our breeding program. However, due to health issues he was retired early. Prancer had a broken jaw when he came to us and system wide infection. He was very timid and in severe pain and once we got him fixed up his personality changed. He was very appreciative and gave me more love than any other dog I owned. He fit perfectly under my left arm and loved to lay on my lap at nite and would lay there for hours getting rubbed. He developed diarraha and kept it for 6 months. We ran all kinds of test and then the vet referred him to a specialist. All his test were normal and the first thing the specialist did was an ultrasound. She came back in with the devestating news that Prancer had intestinal cancer that had spread to his spleen and lymph nodes. I had told mother about 4 weeks prior to the specialist visit that his eyes had become weak looking. Even though Prancer was eating and drinking hearty he began losing weight and had lost 2 lbs in 3 weeks. He never stopped wagging his tail but he began using the bathroom every 30 - 40 minutes and nothing but water would come out. He would keep straining and nothing would come out so I knew he was miserable. We had to make the difficult decision to put this precious Angel down. I am thankful I could give him 2 y ears of love and I hate that he lost his battle at such a young age. I will never have another baby as precious to me as this little guy. I love all my dogs but this little guy was special because he was ill the day I got him and he put on a brave fight. He gave me so much love and affection and he knew he was special to me.

Keya
Mom purchased her to breed and she had 2 litters of puppies. She has since closed her breeding program but is keeping Keya as a pet. She and Skylar are moms 2 special foundation girls and will remain here to live out their lives with mom on the couch.
