Shih-tzus
The McKnight name is a family name and is of Scottish origin. We are from the Clan McNaughton. We chose this name for our kennel because of the pride we have for our heritage.
My mother and I work together in breeding the Shih-Tzus and in making quality custom fit pet clothing. Our World revolves around pets. You can view our pet clothing designs by clicking sassypetwear
Jerrie is pictured on left holding 2 of our pets (Heidi and Fritz) They are our 15 year old Pomeranians (Heidi passed away on 11/08/10.) I am pictured on right. Mom was a controller for many years until her retirement. I was employed as a paramedic/cardiac tech until I injured myself on the job. Our love of the breed developed when I purchased a Shih-Tzu yorkie mix named Sassy. She inspired my love of the breed which moved us to start and launch our pet clothing line. Although all our dogs are considered family pets and live indoors with us, some of them are strictly pets and have been spayed/neutered.
